Brief Biography

Gunnar Olsson (born 1935) is currently Professor Emeritus at the University of Uppsala, Sweden. In previous incarnations he was a Professor of Geography at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (1966–77), of Economic Geography and Planning at the Nordic Institute for Studies in Urban and Regional Planning, Stockholm (1977–97), and of Economic Geography at the University of Uppsala (1997–2000).
