This is Part Two of a two-part paper on the geographical content of “Seven Pillars of Wisdom”, T. E. Lawrence's account of his involvement with Arab guerrillas during the First World War. This part deals with Lawrence's description and occasional interpretation of terrains within six natural regions of Arabia and eastern Palestine through which he travelled during the Arab campaign. As in Part One, he is revealed here as an astute observer, occasionally interpreter, of landscape, whose writing deserves wider notice and a place in the geographical canon of this region.
